JANUARY: Won 1st place (cash award) for a pair of collages displayed in a coffee-themed show at Soulard Coffee Garden Cafe.

FEBRUARY: Notified that all 3 collages submitted to a juried international show were accepted!

Gaye enjoyed a number of reading/exhibiting events
throughout 2009 and 2010.

After a delightful springtime trip to Greece, Turkey, & assorted Greek islands, she spent the summer and autumn of 2010 reading, writing, and traveling about the country.

gaye’s newest cover is for Sexing the Look (Cambridge Scholars Publishing). It’s a book that reports on the gender-issued conference sponsored by University of Missouri-St. Louis a few years back. The image was originally created as a poster for the 2008 event.

gaye’s collage art is again featured on the cover of the esteemed literary journal from the University of Missouri-St. Louis, Natural Bridge #23. The piece is titled the webs we weave and incorporates images garnered from poetry/essays within the issue.

gaye has three poems in the recently published Flood Stage: An Anthology of St. Louis Poets (Walrus Press). She read at the official book launch at Left Bank Books downtown, and plans to be a part of other scattered reading events whenever she feels like doing so.
